Your files

Nothing is uploaded. The PDFs and images you choose are processed on your own device, inside your browser. They are never sent over the network, and this site has no server that could receive them. For the merge, split and image tools, closing or reloading the tab wipes everything they were holding in memory. The PDF editor additionally keeps the file you are editing and your edits in the browser's own storage on your device, so an accidental refresh doesn't lose your work; that copy never leaves your machine and is removed when you press Start over — do that before leaving a shared computer.

We do not receive or keep your files, file names, or anything derived from them. There are no server copies, thumbnails, queues or processing logs, because no file ever reaches us. The finished PDF is created as a temporary object in your browser and saved by your own browser's download function.

Accounts and personal data

There are no accounts, no sign-up and no newsletter. We do not ask for your name or email address anywhere on the site. If you email us using the address on the contact page, we will have whatever you put in that email and will use it only to reply.

Cookies and advertising

The site itself sets no cookies. If ads go live, the consent banner will store your answer so you are not asked again on every visit. As described above, the PDF editor also stores its current file and edits locally until you press Start over. The site plans to use advertising, but no ads are live yet. If ads go live, third-party ad providers such as Google AdSense may set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser to serve and measure ads, including personalised ads. Those providers may also collect technical data such as your IP address, device type and browser.

You can control this: Google explains its use of advertising data at policies.google.com/technologies/ads, and personalised advertising can be turned off at adssettings.google.com. Your browser settings and any ad or tracker blocker you use also apply here.

Hosting and analytics

The site is served as static files by a hosting provider, which may keep standard server access logs (IP address, timestamp, requested page) for security and operational reasons. The pdf-lib and pdf.js libraries that do the PDF work are served from this site. We run no analytics of our own.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top.
