How to prepare AI memory for another assistant
Use this tool to review a plain-text or Markdown summary you already have. It helps you choose which preferences and background details to carry forward. It does not connect to an account, retrieve conversations or import memory into another service.
- Paste up to 200,000 characters. Separate sections with blank lines so each becomes its own review block.
- Select Review sections. Exact duplicate blocks start unchecked; other blocks remain selected until you change them.
- Read each retained block and uncheck information you no longer want to share. Suggestions flag some common sensitive-data patterns, but are not a complete privacy review.
- Inspect the exact outgoing Markdown and download it. You decide separately whether and how to provide that text to another assistant.
Is this a chat-history migration or automatic memory sync?
No. The output is a Markdown file containing the checked blocks, joined with blank lines. There are no model calls, account connections, rewriting or automatic sharing. Support for importing that file depends on the destination service.
Can I keep preferences without personal details?
Yes, when they are in separate blocks. For example, keep a block saying “I prefer concise answers” and uncheck a separate block containing contact details. If both are in one block, edit the source and review it again. Changing the source clears the previous output so you can make a fresh selection.
Use the text diff checker to compare two summaries, or the character counter to check the size of the text you plan to transfer.
What this does not prove
Pattern suggestions cover common email, phone, credential and payment-card shapes. They miss context-specific and disguised sensitive information and can flag harmless text. Read every retained block. Only checked blocks are exported, joined by a blank line.
